Interzoo, the world’s leading trade fair for pet products, was successfully held online from June 1 to 4, 2021 with 14,537 participants from more than 100 countries and regions and 336 exhibitors from 48 countries and regions. Thousands of people exchanged the latest food and care products, accessories and services about pets through the four-day online trade fair.

With a total area of approximately 125,000 square meters, Interzoo 2021 once again provides a global market overview of a series of innovative food, care products and accessories for tetrapods, birds, ornamental fish and terrarium animals. Due to the fact that dogs and cats are the most common pets, the products of these four-legged friends performed most prominently at the show (49.9%), followed by small mammals (13.0%). Other areas such as aquarium (8.4%), bird products (6.8%), glass containers (6.1%) and pet food technology (3.3%) also have a place.

The exhibitors of this online exhibition are mainly from six continents: 23% are from Germany, 44% are from other European countries, 27% are from Asia, 5% are from North America, South America, Africa and Australia each account for a small portion.
